First, you will need to gather all your large posters and charts and put them into piles by months, grading quraters, or seasons of the year.

Next you will need to stop by the bog box store or a craft store for the following supplies:  wooden letters O’s and EITHER paint, paint brush, Podge Podge, Exacto knife, and scrapbook paper  OR  letter and themed stickers.

Here is option A.  You can choose to buy the plain wooden letters, and the paint the edges of the letters.

After that, cut your scrapbook paper to match each of the sides and Modge Podge them down.

Last, you can then paint on letters or add scrapbook letters for the months and Modge Podge those down too.

That option would certainly ADORABLE, but you know me and since I am not super crafty (nor patient when waiting for projects to dry), I went with option B.

Here is option B, which made it so much simpler for me.

I just bought wooden letters that were pre-painted already in black and added stickers.

Had I had more time, I would have probably went ahead and Modge Podged them down just for an extra clear layer over the top to hold them down well.

In my example, I grabbed some “bling” letters and some planet stickers so they match my Space Theme Resources category.

You could choose any color or style of letters and stickers you need to match your own classroom theme!

After you have your closet dividers, slide them onto to a closet bar you might have in a closet or wardrobe in your classroom.

No closet?  You could also use a heavy duty tension rod in between an odd cut in that might be in your classroom (and then cover up your supplies with an additional rod above that hangs down a curtain over).

Last, grab some pant hangers with the moveable clips and start adding your large charts and posters to them (if they are too heavy to fit the whole category in, split them up.)

Also, if you don’t want the hanger clips showing up as indentations in your charts/posters, then use construction paper folded up over the edges so that the clips on the hanger are on top of that instead.

Last, hang your items behind the appropriate divider!

If you don’t think you’ll remember to swap it out on the first of the month, add it to your yearly planning calendar somewhere and then all year long you will have new charts and posters displayed so your students get to see them all!

Of course, this is only one idea.  How do you keep your large charts and posters organized and always in rotation?
