Classroom Seating Chart: Four Square
This section is for class sizes of 16-17 students. While all the photos show options for 16 students, feel free to place an additional student on the end of one of the groups, if needed.
This is a typical grouping of desks into teams of 4. This setup works best when teams work together in cooperative learning activities or in competition with one team against another. Incorporating team-building activities into your curriculum is necessary in order for the students to “buy-in” to a team that may not necessarily consist of friends.
